Wednesday Weigh In

Lots of stuff happening that’s prevented me from posting, I was sick last week being one of them.  I weighed in this morning and was a lovely 237.2 lbs.  I was a bit surprised, but a happy surprise.

Wednesday Weigh In

Alright, I weighed in yesterday morning at 243.8.  I went in the wrong direction, but I also went to the gym twice since my last post.  Not the glorious return that I had hoped for, but I went.  That is my goal right now, just to get going to the gym.  Once I am going again on a regular basis I can start trying to decide what I want to do at the gym.  I have gotten a bunch of different exercise regiment suggestions, but those do me no good if I am not going to the gym.  I feel like I am starting this whole process over again.  It is rather discouraging, but I am starting at 243.8 instead of ~255.

On the Cusp

As we approach a new year I do not plan to make any resolutions.  I never follow through, but I am going to continue trying to lose weight.  I just got back from my winter break in the Bahama’s where I ate like a beast.  When I weigh in on Wednesday I suspect I shall have gained a whole lot of weight, but we shall see.  For now I am back in the swing of things and I need to get back to the gym.  The beach photo’s made me realize that I have a healthier body in my mind than I actually have.  I packed a gym bag this morning, but didn’t follow through.  I guess tomorrow is a new year, so no better time than… tomorrow to get back to the gym.

Wednesday Weigh In

Heyo!  It’s been awhile, but it is time again for a Wednesday weigh in!  I weighed in this morning and came in at 238.4lbs.  I contribute this largely to the fact that it is the Christmas season and I don’t have money to spend on extra food!  In seriousness though, I have been trying to not eat as much.  I have been bringing smaller portions to lunch, bringing home leftovers and just trying to make smarter choices.  I still haven’t gotten back to the gym, though I still get up with plenty of time to get there.

Wednesday Weigh In

Another Wednesday weigh in on Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving! I weighed in yesterday at 240 even on the new scale which is down a few pounds since last week. I attribute this mostly to getting back to eating my healthy lunches instead of dining out. I haven’t really gotten back to the gym yet, but at least I’ve got one foot back on the path. My goal for next week is to try and maintain 240 because it is Thanksgiving and I’m going to eat.

I’m Sorry, So Sorry

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I forgot to weigh in this morning and will try to do so tomorrow. However, I have been struggling with motivation for… what has probably been about a month now. I got a new scale and when I weighed in on it on Monday I was back up to 243.6. Are there any tips people out there on the Internet have for getting back on track and keeping motivated?

Wednesday Weigh In

I’m a week and a day late I believe.  I have all sorts of great excuses, but I do not actually have a weight to report today.  My scale at home has broken and I haven’t been going to the gym.  I’m a bit afraid to weigh myself because I’ve completely fallen off track.  I’ve been gobbling everything I can get my  hands on and getting no exercise.  What I’m hoping to do for next week is try and at least find the path back to my diet and exercise routine.   I feel like the longer I wait to get back to it the harder it will be.

Wednesday Weigh In

When weighing in this morning I was pleasemtly surprised. I weighed 239.4. I was excepting to have gained considerably since this week has been very hectic. On Monday work was very busy when I got in to go to the gym so I started working to help out instead of going to the gym. Then, same day, my wife’s car broke down and I had to rescue her and so even though I started work early, I had to make up time. Which I did yesterday. Getting back to the gym has proven very difficult. That must mean I’m making better eating choices since I didn’t rocket back up. Right now however I am typimg this trying to fins the motivation to get up and go to the gym.

Wednesday Weigh In

I apologize for the late post.  Columbus day has thrown my internal calendar off by a day.  I felt like it was Tuesday all day yesterday and it wasn’t until last night that I realized that I was mistaken.  Today marks a great day for me, a big number has been reached.  When I weighed in this “Wednesday” I was 238 lbs even. I have now lost over 20 lbs since I first started trying to lose weight.  WHEN, almost said if, I get under 230, it will be something that I have not done since I can remember.  I know in middle school I was thin, weighed around 180, and since there I have slowly ballooned up until I hit 258.6 lbs and started trying to get things back in order.

Wednesday Weigh In

Good morning, today I am coming to you live from the treadmill. When I weighed myself this morning I came in at 240.4. I have been rather loosey goosey with my eating and exercise habits recently and if I am going to get under 240 I need to refocus myself on my goals and get serious again. So that is my goal for next week, starting back up with my good habits.
